Thorbjörn Eklund - Producer, Director, Scriptwriter and Editor

 - A man with many talents and over 20 years of experience -

Thorbjörn started as an independent filmmaker and front of the camera as an actor. He studied theatre in Norrköping before going abroad. In Scotland he studied theatre, film and scriptwriting. When he came back to Sweden, he made his first mini-series called Vit Oskuld. The project was made with a low budget and friends. From that point Thorbjörn started focusing on scriptwriting, directing and editing.

He started his company in 2007 and worked with different people on a bunch of projects until 2009. When he decided to take his bachelors as a media producer and then advance to a master's degree. During his studies, he worked with his company which now was called IT's Production.

In 2012 he started working with Utbildnings radion and quickly became a main asset in the productions: The Game, Mission Food and Onomatopoetiska Språket. However, he stopped working there to be able to focus on his studies and master paper. Which looked at "Digital visual effects as a narrative device in contemporary film and tv-series". During this time he also made two short films, one documentary and a project description of his first feature film.

The breakthrough came in 2018 when his own series Lika men Olika premiered on Swedish television. A series which he produced, wrote and animated himself. Now he works with new projects and amazing partners to create the next big thing in film and tv.
